During a routine exam or if there is a dental concern, an oral abnormality may be noted and require additional attention. Further diagnostics may be recommended to properly diagnose the disease and to develop a treatment plan. Periodontal or endodontic issues can potentially be addressed to help with discomfort, function and oral health. If a tooth requires extraction, that procedure will be scheduled at different time after the initial assessment and diagnostics.
